Safety. Growth. Renewal.

Hello and welcome to Sequoia Springs Counseling and Wellness. I am humbled and honoured to welcome you into this space and to potentially accompany you on your journey in growth and healing.

My name is Rebecca and I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor in beautiful BC. I work with adolescents and adults from a relational, experiential, trauma-informed, and attachment-focused approach. I am deeply passionate about helping people embrace their vulnerability and inner strength to grow, heal, and live authentic lives.
I believe the ability and capacity for healing and growth is hard-wired within us, in our mind and body. Though this part of ourselves may be hidden due to years of emotionally painful experiences, we are all capable of accessing it. It takes a lot of courage to be willing to explore these deep, vulnerable parts of ourselves. I would be honoured and humbled to walk alongside you as you navigate this journey of exploration. As human beings, we all have a deep desire to be seen, heard, accepted, understood, and cared for. I strive to provide space for your experiences to be honoured. Through the process of sharing your stories in a gentle and compassionate space, it is my hope that you will feel less alone, your experiences will feel less heavy, and together we can access those healing parts deep within so that you may move forward towards health and well-being.

About Rebecca...

I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors. I completed my Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Psychology at Simon Fraser University and my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Trinity Western University.

My desire to become a counsellor stems from my passion to support, guide, and empower those who need a helping hand as they go through struggles in life. I have always been drawn to the helping professions for as long as I could remember.
